AHMKARA - Project Insights

In this project, I modeled, colored, posed, and lit an Aztec serpent in ZBrush. I then used the ZBrush render to create a final concept art piece in Procreate. AHMKARA was created as a loyal, giant companion for my character CHANTICO.

Inspiration:
AHMKARA is inspired by Quetzalcoatl, the "Feathered Serpent," one of the most important deities of the Aztecs. Quetzalcoatl is associated with the sky and earth, light and darkness, as well as wisdom and life.
